What does it mean when someone says s/he is "dedicated" or "devoted" to a particular god/dess?
I have so often read about or heard people talk about that, but they often also talk about being dedicated/devoted to more than one god/dess.
I don't mean to be flip at all, but I don't understand. How do you know, and how can you be dedicated/devoted to more than one?
