Sex & Pagan Faiths

I was just wondering how certain sexual issues sit with the different pagan religions and faiths. Growing up around Christians and Catholics, I know their takes on almost every issue(who doesn't?), but I'm curious to know how sex and gender fit into other practices.

If you want to answer what the "general pagan community" feels like or more specifically to your own faith, I'm interested to hear your responses. And please take this seriously. I'm not a creep, a pervert or a joker, but I am curious about these things, because I'm new to the pagan community and I really don't know.
